I feel like a boiling teakettle. June’s Casbah show? The Brown Album. Twelve paintings, each one named for and featuring my visual interpretation of a single song from The Band’s second (and best) 1969 release. I’m going to buy canvas tomorrow. In the meantime, I could explode at any moment. Excited! I botched the only thing I worked on today, so nothing to report here. Tonight I’m going to the Casbah to check out wall space and tomorrow I’m going to buy enough canvas to fill it. Huzzah! Even though I spent the weekend almost exclusively riding my bike and watching episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (come on, everyone deserves a sloth-style weekend once in a while), I managed to accomplish a handful of real-world goals.
