If you want to come to the Casbah tomorrow night, I will be there with the Grass Mountain Hobos and my Brown Album paintings. Not really an “opening” and not really a “closing.” More of a…midpoint party? A two-thirds bash? I have lots of stuff to take pictures of, but my camera batteries just died. [...] Here comes the home stretch on the Casbah paintings. I fully mangled one of the big ones this past week and had to start over.
