A couple years ago, I adapted an old motorcycle bar bag pattern for use as a purse. Because it looked like the kind of thing I imagine Jimmy Olsen carries around, I called it The Daily Planet Purse. Anyway, this version was [...] This I-Pad holster took up much of my time yesterday so I’m behind on the cuffs, but plan to work on the mountain avens of the NWT tomorrow. Anywhooooooo this is a custom order for a fellow artist. Based on the same design as my chalk bag, only done to the dimensions of an I-Pad. [...] Name change to the Ocean Playground Purse – absolutely everything that could have gone wrong with this bag did go wrong. It is the world’s most disappointing daughter. I never want to see it again, but I’ll probably have to stare at it every day for the rest of my life because I’ll never be [...] Low posting. Sorry. I’ve been struggling with the same G-D bag for what feels like years. I’ll post pictures of the thing tomorrow and then I’m never looking at it again. Much to my furiousity, I had to start the Ocean Playground Purse over again. I was waiting on leather paints to come in at Tundra and because I couldn’t (wait that is), I started staining and spraying. I knew this was a mistake the minute I did it, but they don’t not call me Amy [...] I’ve been working on leather all the dang day and even though there’s a serious ache in my shoulder (throbbing to the tap tap tap of my mallet) and a crick in my neck (from cocking my head to the right and judging finished pieces), I feel gooooooood. I missed this while I was absorbed [...] This may not look like much now, but give me a week or so. I’m going to whip this into some serious shape – the Ocean Playground Purse.
