I was not expecting to wake up this morning and spend money on a piece of art, but have I ever in my life been so enamored of a painting? No is the answer to that question! So I justified it to myself in two ways… #1) I have never purchased an original painting. As [...] If I can manage to sit still and listen for a minute, I hear a buzz. Is it coming from my heart or my head? Ohhhhhh, there is so much to do. I need to make myself a calendar and list a strict schedule. Events. Obligations. Things that must be done each day. I generally [...] I feel like a boiling teakettle. June’s Casbah show? The Brown Album. Twelve paintings, each one named for and featuring my visual interpretation of a single song from The Band’s second (and best) 1969 release. I’m going to buy canvas tomorrow. In the meantime, I could explode at any moment. Excited! I botched the only thing I worked on today, so nothing to report here. Tonight I’m going to the Casbah to check out wall space and tomorrow I’m going to buy enough canvas to fill it. Huzzah! |
