I haven’t been into the studio in too long. I was going to head in Monday and Tuesday but I was so burned out on not having spent any time at home for so long and then it was rainy and so I just swung by the studio and picked up some paints and canvas [...] Happy labour day! Sean pimped out my Surly frame for me for my birthday and it is more beautiful than I imagined it would be – with a Brooks seat and cork bar tape and shorty drop bars and my dream shifters! Now we [...] Readers, I am re-branding Shoot from the Hip. After weeks of agonizing and nearly alienating Sean because options are all I’ve wanted to talk about, I settled on one. He is, and his boat finally hit water last week after some long years of being beached. We just got back from eight days of riding around the Bruce Peninsula and Manitoulin Island and I am in love with Huron all over again.
